I can see some people liking this anime, but as you said heavy drama isn't for everyone (like me). One problem that I might have had with it was the length. If they made this into a 24 episode season anime it might have been better. I felt as though the characters were just too childish and didn't really show any signs of "growing up". By increasing the number of episodes I might have understood WHY the characters were the way they were in present day. To me seeing a heavy past means a lot. But again thank you for the comment! If you don't like a drama where characters are flawed and make huge mistakes (heavy drama) then this is definitely not your type ..
